the more and more i drive through tokushima, shikoku, i see the mountains disappearing. mountains that use to be there 20 years ago are all but gone. what’s happening?

the last time i took the 2 hour drive to the ferry, i noticed 8 mountains getting chipped away little by little. kind of freaky for me coming from hawaii because this is totally illegal. mountains can never be replaced so this is pretty sad for a guy like me who loves nature.

tokushima cement? mountains turn into buildings. that’s the tradeoff.
different countries, different cultures, different values, and different ways of life. shikataganai!
