gosh, after a few weeks of rain and super strong winds, yesterday returned to paradise. i had a photo shoot on the beach and was loving the hot sunny day. got some great shots but can’t show them. instead, check out these i shot with my iphone.

isn’t the ocean so beautiful? of course, this is not in hawaii. to see something like this in hawaii is pretty rare.

this is called a fish ball. if i had my spear, i’d have dinner for a whole week.

where’s the fish in hawaii? it’s a long story and i’ll get into that another time. but for now, just imagine how hawaii use to be. now, forget it.

North shore coming UP! 4-6′ this morning and 8-10′ this afternoon.
South swell? I think shoulder high and offshore in town.
Wind are tradewinds at 15-30mph. It’s already windy!

omg, the waves were so good today at bowls. perfect lefts, little crowd, sunny, offshore, and good surfing. good to jump in the water with all my friends enjoying a super sunny day in hawaii.

went to eat some taiwan nabe last night with some friends. looks delicious yeah?

then after we got kicked out for staying past the 1.5 hour limit, we went outside to the parking lot to finish up the beers. then it started to rain so we took shelter outside kozo sushi. we ended up finishing the 15 beers we took and had a great time. good talk, good time, and good friends. to Shinomiya-san and Ryo, have a great trip back to japan. had fun eating last night and fun surfing today. see you soon!
