Surf 1st. January 2013

DSCN0601
good morning 2013! imagine waking up early and feeling so fresh. drank my kombucha, ate some cereal, put my board in my car, drove to the ocean, paddled out at dark, surfed with the big moon, and watched the first sunrise of 2013. it’s only 9am and i’m back home feeling like i had a full day of excitement. i like starting off my new years like this because it gives me the motivation to maximize every single day of my life. you only live once so why not make the most of it right? now i’m going to eat some mochi, do some weight training, go surfing again, ride harley, fix things around my house, make a bigger chicken cage, and end it off with a sushi dinner. there is not a left over minute of today that i will be wasting. have a jolly happy new year!

my underwater camera has been acting up again. sometimes it takes good photos, sometimes it doesn’t. the waves were barreling this morning but i couldn’t get the right timing because it was so dark. oh well, just wanted to show you what you missed.

glassy, fun, and beautiful. what more could you ask for the first day of the year.
