i met the coolest surfer today. Kanekuni-san is from osaka. he’s a good surfer, cool guy, and has inspiration to get better and better. i’m sure his level of surfing will improve rapidly as we trained all morning long. Go-Kanekuni-san!
yesterday was pretty fun. i was hot as heck being down at the beach from 8:30am to 3:30pm. i got to play around with my camera which i love doing. and if you know me, i always ask people to jump! it’s just a super cool and happy thing! you jump, i jump, we all jump! thanks to the tv crew yesterday for all the hard work in the hot sun! i can’t wait to see the program!
pho from BacNam. Oishi!!!!
when ever i travel, i see something pretty cool and interesting. on a trip to Nias, Indonesia, i seen this lovely couple walking to the ocean. girls who surf! haha.
anyway, another great day of waves and friends. super fun summer in hawaii continues!
Osaka Surfer, We Jump, BacNam, and Girls who Surf.
Crazy Hawaii, Go-Alyssa, DH Sunset, 53, and My Dream Destination!
i had a super fun time yesterday filming with the japan tv crew. i thought it was going to be a 2 man crew but when i seen 2 big vans pull up full with people, i knew this project was big. i had fun surfing, shooting, eating, and laughing with everybody. i’m starting to get use to this and the camera doesn’t scare me anymore. well, only sometimes.
working with alyssa wooten is always fun. we just keep talking, laughing, and even fighting. haha. this girl works hard and i totally resect that! good job alyssa.
i always try my best to make the sunset on the south shore. last night i made it right on time! katsura-san too. the best view on oahu? yes, i told you that before and things haven’t changed since than. totally awesome!
53 By the Sea is becoming my favorite restaurant in hawaii. the food, the atmosphere, and the view are top notch!
small salad but very tasty. i forgot to take photos after this because i was too busy eating, drinking, and talking.
one of my friends sent me this photo this morning. i have to say i was a little jealous because she was looking down at this wonderful view in greece while i was watching the rain outside my house. i’ve always wanted to visit greece every since my history 101 course in college. i told myself back then that i’ll go there when i get older. now i’m older and i’m ready to go. don’t be surprised if you see me take this exact photo next month. gosh, i wish i were there right now!
