wanted to wish Matsu a Happy Birthday!!!! i know it was a few weeks ago but at least i remembered right? haha. last year we celebrated Matsu’s birthday in tohoku. i wonder what he did this year? anyway, will see you next month in tohoku Matsu. We Are One!

had a great surf with Kanekuni-san. super cool guy and great surfer! we surfed kaisers, rockpiles, and bowls in one morning. a lot of paddling but no problem for him.

i knew Shun Murakami will become a champion. it was just sooner or later. he’s 15 now and is the new Japanese Junior Pro Champion! i haven’t seen Shun surf in a long time but everybody’s telling me that he’s the best right now. i can’t wait to see him surfing in hawaii this winter.
