yesterday was the first time i rode side by side taking both fisheye photos and video at the same time. to shoot fisheye, you have to get pretty close. this time, it was too close for Elias. i was yelling “bend you knees!!!” and he almost shot his board into my knees. haha.

Yuki-san is getting better and better everyday. when i tell people that she has been surfing for only less than a year, they don’t believe. yes, Yuki-san surfs like she’s been surfing for years.

after learning how to take off, turn left and right, the next step is to take a walk on the board. taking that first step is the hardest but once you do it, the next and next step is easy. Inaida-san focusing on the next step! Take it!

ever since i started shooting, i was never into the hardcore big wave action. yeah, sometimes i swim out and shoot big waves, but to me, the fun is shooting every day surfers enjoying the ocean. no stress, no hassles, and no pressure. just enjoying a sunday here in hawaii. if you ever want to meet a surfer girl so stoked on surfing, Yuki-san is the one.
i think i will start shooting more now. just to see the results is too rewarding for me. to surf side by side with your friends cheering them on while shooting photos and video is pretty cool! all these photos will be in my iPhoto gallery forever! and i’m saving the videos for another funny YouTube. SURF YOUR DREAM!
