been seeing a lot of sharks here. some small, some big. on this dive, a pretty big and thick one came from behind me. kind of close, but once i locked onto his eyes, i felt pretty comfortable. sharks have a bad reputation but if you keep swimming with them and seeing how gracefully they are in their world, you will realize that we have the bad reputation. it’s their world and if you go into the ocean, you better respect it. simple yeah?

the diving here in the maldives is amazing. fish everywhere! feel so connected with nature. i just wish hawaii had as much fish as here. that’s the only thing that brings me down.
