christmas is all about giving. christmas is all about the kids. christmas is all about happiness. i love christmas because it’s such a happy time here in hawaii. people just seem to be nicer during this time of year. the christmas lights all over the island, the smell of the christmas trees, and big old santa’s all over the place. when i was a kid, i use to ask santa for all the trendy toys that use to make me happy. now as an adult, i ask santa for happiness that will make me happier. it’s a wonderful time of the year and i’m enjoying every minute of it! i wish you all a merry christmas and a happy holiday season! may all your dreams come true.

last, i want to thank all my friends and everybody who donated money to Freetohoku for the christmas cakes to be given out to the kids in ishinomaki. Freetohoku hit their target and raised almost 700,000 yen or $9,000 in just 3 weeks for their “let them eat cake” fund. i’m so happy that the kids in tohoku will be smiling this christmas. it’s programs like this these that are keeping hope alive. once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Laniakea: 2-3′ and windy. side winds.
Pipeline: 1-3′ and windy, but offshore. actually looks clean and fun.
Diamond Head: 1-3′ and WINDY!!!! good for wind surfing.
Bowls: knee/waist high and perfect conditions.
Wind: Windy 25-35mph.
Weather: Cloudy morning/Sunny afternoon.
Plan: Surf secret East spot.
