i wrote about Kimura-san, “The Last Samurai” on a previous blog. Kimura-san is one of the reasons i keep on going back to tohoku. this man inspires me. fisherman, teacher, and father with a great heart. i would go to tohoku every year forever to see his smile and his courage in moving forward to build his life, his family, and his town.
by the way, our We Are One team handed an envelope with money that will go directly to the kids kendo club. thank you to everybody that was a part of that.

check out kimura-san’s truck. we just want him to know that people around the world is thinking about him.

there are thousands of families living in temporary houses. this situation is far from over so please don’t forget.
