good evening. great news!!! go-naminori is finally up and running
smoothly. we were having trouble switching over to the new system
because of the heavy access. i actually was going to write a blog to
say “stop looking at go-naminori.” just so we can switch over more
smoothly. haha… but after days and days of no sleeping for our web
designers, i’m happy to say, “go sleep.” we are up and running on a
high tech system that should avoid our site from crashing because of
too much access. great things are coming. thanks for being patient
and i also want to thank everybody for the emails, phone calls, and
text messages about our problems. there are still minor problems that
will be fixed as we speak. going down to wakayama tomorrow to return
the car i’ve been borrowing for the last month. then taking a flight
back to my home, hawaii. i’m looking forward to sleeping in my own
bed, driving my own car, wearing slippers and shorts everyday, surfing
my secret spots, and seeing my wonderful friends. i wanted to take it
easy and relax for a while but decided to come back to japan soon for
mission 3. be back in 10 days or so. have a great evening….

good morning, it’s 1:30 am and i finally have time to catch up on things.  first, check out this photo matsu took last week when we were in minami soma.  we were delivering food and supplies to an evacuation center and this was happening right across the street.  this is the 25 kilometer mark from the fukushima power plant. when we were in the city hall office just down the street, there were guys in full radiation outfits walking around in the city hall while we were in our plain clothes.  it was kind of a freaky sight to see.
what else has been going on?  well, our site opened for renewal last week and we didn’t expect to get so much access that things kept on crashing one after another. in a couple of days, we should be back to 100% and we are going to grow and grow.  we updated to a huge server to hold the hundreds of thousands of photos on the site.  my email was down for a week, and so was my blog.  i tried posting stuff but somethings posted, and somethings disappeared.  give me a day and i’ll be back to normal.  as for emails, if you sent me something since april 24th and didn’t get a reply, please send it again.  lots of my email was deleted on the old server.  thanks for you patience and understanding…
as for my plan, i’m going back to hawaii on may 5th to regroup.  then coming back to japan soon for mission 3.
now i better get some rest…  good night….
