The last time we went diving, this big box jellyfish wrapped around my leg and stung me.  It’s pretty painful but I’m use to the pain because it’s probably the 100th time I got stung.  You get use to it.

I kind of wanted Mateus to get stung too because I wanted to see his reaction.  Of course I didn’t tell him that.  Someday everyone is going to get stung and I would like to be the one to guide him through the pain.  

I started to fill up the gas on Mayuki and stopped at $634.  There was a lot more room in the tank but that was enough for today.  

Leashes do break.  It usually starts with a microscopic cut from your fin and then will eventually break.  So check your leash periodically.  

Mighty Mouse broke this leash on a big wave.  Thank goodness she knows how to swim because after I saw it break, I told her “swim.”  Haha.

Surfboards tend to break right above the fins because there is so much torque at this point.  What would you do?  Would you fix this or throw it away?

Round 1:  The south swells are still coming and coming.  This morning was chest high and perfect.
