good morning. got a nice south swell rolling into town right now. seen some 3′ sets at bowls and looking pretty clean. strong trades but offshore. my nephews are down there surfing a contest right now. seems like there’s a contest every weekend here in hawaii. great for the kids. well, 2 more days till this patch comes off so i’m looking forward to it. can’t wait to get back into the ocean. surf/dive/swim or anything. i just want to get back in to clean up my body/mind/soul…. have a nice day….

check out the vegetables i bought yesterday from the farmers market. squash, edamame, okura, tomatoes, mustard cabbage, and ginger all for less than $8. i’m going back there next week for sure….

and i seen this photo on the national news. this kid here on the north shore at haleiwa’s been taking mouse surfing. check out this shot? looks fake yeah? but it’s real. maybe i’ll take the ants in my house surfing….

and last, was up in hawaii kai yesterday checking out our house we grew up in. a lot of crazy memories happened in that house. the tenants just moved out so my mom put it up for rent again. super clean 4 bedroom, 2 bath, with a huge backyard and patio. let me know if your interested. see that window on the far right? that was my room. oh the memories…..

good evening. wasn’t it a dark day today? i didn’t see the sun all day. plus it was really windy. so the one eye driver was on the road all day just keeping busy. took a drive out to hawaii kai, gosh, i really miss living out there. every street i drive on, i have some pretty awesome childhood memories. some good, and some bad. but now as an adult, i can reflect back and just laugh about it…. those were the days….

went to stop by to see my sister and kelia getting ready before their 2 week roxy photo trip to tahiti. yeah, tahiti.. lucky yeah? i wish i could go with them. they are heading to a remote island off in tahiti with the other international roxy models to shoot surfing and modeling. can’t wait to see the photos….

it seemed so long since i seen my nephews and nieces. they are growing up too fast. way to fast… i still remember when i use to pinch all those cheeks… i wish they can be all babies again. check out seth checking out one of my youtube videos…

i went to the farmers market at KCC today. bought a lot of fresh vegetables because i’m planning to make some special soup this week. that place was packed with people. and a lot of japanese tourist were there….

fresh and cheap veggies. i should go there more often….

the kahuku sweet corn is a must. the butter with garlic one is so good. next time, i’m going to try the li hing mui powder w/lemon butter…. sweet….
