This afternoon perfect waves for long boarding.  Waist high and perfect!  Irene with the longest rides of her life.  

Afternoons are so nice and warm.  Perfect surfing girl!  

Back on the longboard and having fun.  My first cross step in years.

Good morning 4:20am.
Ala Moana waist high and clean.
Diamond Head chest high and bumpy.
Trade winds at 15mph.
Sun, clouds, and warm.

Today, I spend the day with the kids.  Hands on experience.  No iPhones, no iPads, and no TV.  This is how I teach.  

Period 1:  Science-  Learning about rocks, crystals, and their origins.  Rocks are not just for throwing.

Period 2:  Architecture-  Learning about shapes, foundation, and symmetry.  Balance is everything.

Period 3:  Games-  Learning how to play fair, wait your turn, and how to lose.  Because someone always has to lose.

Period 4:  Nature-  Learning how to look up into the sky and observing the ever changing weather patterns.  And to wear sunscreen.

Recess:  Learning the rewards of hard work.  Kids will do anything for a pop-tart.  Good job boys!
