Looking like Christmas Again!

We paddled out in the pitch dark while the moonlight was shining so bright.  Then the sun started to rise and it started to look like Christmas!

Surfing with Kohno san was fun.  Riding behind him and trying to get the super sunrise photo.  It doesn’t get any prettier than this!

The waves were super fun.  The wind swell wrapping all the way into Bowls.  Chest high waves and super fun for everyone.  Kohno san speeding down the line.

The girls were out having their own Boot Camp.  Hunting down waves, taking off fast, and surfing so smooth.

Huge improvements recently for this girl.  Surfing better than ever!

Round 2 at Diamond Head.  A totally different wave from this morning but this is where most of the progress is made.  I tell everyone that if you can surf this, you can surf anything.

Only a surfer knows the feeling…

Early morning Bowls…

Rest of My Life

Now that the strong trade winds are back, we can reminisce about the days where there were no winds.  Even the birds were happy.

There are only a few days of the year you will see Diamond Head looking like this.  And when it’s like this, there is no where else I’d rather be.

The sunrises are spectacular.  All I think about is how lucky we are to be living in this beautiful world.

Every spot has its locals.  Mark has been surfing Diamond Head since the early 1970’s so nobody is more local than him.  I love listening to his stories how surfing use to be.  Super cool guy and surfs that place like an expert.  I watch and learn.

I see guys older than me surfing and all it does is inspire.  I want to surf for the rest of my life too!
