Round 1:  It’s so cool watching Imai-san surfing better and better each day.  This morning he got some really nice waves before the sun rose.

And the morning got better and better.  Perfect rides and perfect style.  Imai-san enjoying the rides.

Mighty Mouse wakes up early and watches the waves in the dark.  Then she chooses a board that she thinks will be the best for that day.

For today, her 6’4 was the best.  Good choice.  But with a new swell arriving, tomorrow will be a different board.

There was a Zodiac boat floating around in the lineup.  Very dangerous if you don’t look where you’re going.

Rocky taking off and I was wondering if she saw the boat.  

Yes she did and decided to do a cutback right in front of it.  

Umm, that was a little too close for comfort.  

The ocean is alive!  This huge monk seal was swimming right around us.  It was so beautiful!
