Summers Gone

The waves are slowing down in on the South and waking up on the North.  But if you just started surfing, the small days on the South will feel like giant days on the North.  So hold on tight!

For the next 5 months, the waves will be fun at Ala Moana.  Nothing big, but still really fun.  Occasionally we will get overhead swells, but in the meantime, enjoy what we have.

This girl was enjoying every single ride yesterday.  The dream wave for a long boarder.

Thank you again Neal Miyake for the shots of the last summer swell.

See you next time on the North shore!

The Park…

Good morning 4:40am.
North shore head high and good.
Ala Moana waist high and good.
Diamond Head chest high and bumpy.
Trade winds at 20mph.
Sun, showers, and rainbows.
Going to the sea.
Have a wonderful day!

The Dream State

From the boat, you can see some amazing things.  Every time I pass by this house, I always think to myself “I could definitely live there.  The boat would be parked right in front.  I could live off the ocean and land.  All I seen is my gun, speargun, and surfboard.  I wouldn’t need anything else.”  Someday…

The weather is changing and we are officially in our Winter season in Hawaii.  For the next 4 months, you will see storms, heavy rain, weird winds, huge waves, and thousands of rainbows.

Today was one of those picture perfect days.  We surfed and surfed.  The waves were super fun and fun.

Living in the dream state…
