June 5, 2025 Hawaii Surf Report

Yesterday evening once more:  The 6:10pm sunset crowd at Bowls.

Good morning 3:40am.
Ala Moana waist to chest high and good.
Diamond Head chest high and bumpy.
New South swell coming tomorrow.
Trade winds at 20mph.
Sun, clouds, showers, and rainbows.
Going to the sea.
Have a wonderful day!

Circle the Sun

Round 1:  Is Malcolm inventing the new surfing style.  Bodyboard surfing?  Haha.

Even when he’s lying down surfing, he’s smiling the whole way.  And check out that ring around the sunrise this morning.  So cool!

Randy on the longboard.  None of us thought there would be waves.  It was a lot bigger than expected.

Kyle dropping in and never looking back.

Round 2:  Back out to the ocean.  Ala Moana was packed!

Right before my free dive lesson this afternoon, I got a call from my sister.  She wanted to go out and shoot photos so of course I said yes.  Kelia and the kids joined.  We ended up having the most wonderful evening in the middle of the sea.  Taking photos, free diving, and just enjoying this family moment.  Today was wonderful!
