Birds, Rainbows, Lights and Total Reset…

Ala Moana looked small this morning so I decided to go East.  One of the most wildest spots around.  Birds flying, sun rising, and overhead waves.  It felt good to be all alone in the wild ocean.  I loved it!

A few waves and a beautiful rainbow was all it took for me to be content.

The other night at 6pm, I was at home getting ready to sleep.  Some part of me wanted to go off my daily routine and do something different.  And since I haven’t traveled for a while, I thought I’d go out for the night.

The ocean was very calm and inviting.  I always have a blanket and pillow on the boat so I threw in the anchor, did some work on my computer, and fell asleep.

Gosh, I haven’t done this in a very long time.  When I got home the next day, I felt like I just came back from a trip.  I think I’m going to start doing this again frequently.  It’s a total reset for my mind, body, and soul.

Fujiki-san from behind…

Good morning 4:15am.
Ala Moana waist to chest high and good.
Diamond Head chest high and bumpy.
Trade winds up to 25mph.
Sunny and warm.
Going to the sea.
Have a wonderful day!

Goodnight Ala Moana Shopping Center?

I had to go to the Ala Moana Shopping center twice this past week.  As I was walking around, I couldn’t believe how empty it was.  Where is everyone?  I remember this place being packed everyday with shoppers.

I use to see lines of Japanese tourists at the Louis Vuitton store.  I thought it was closed.  But it wasn’t.

There were a total of 2 people in the entire store, and they were mannequins.  How can a luxury store survive like this?  I’m not sure why nobody’s buying any luxury items anymore but I’m guessing it’s the tariffs?

Then I took a peek into the usually busy Rolex shop.  And guess what?  Nobody was in there!

The same goes for Cartier, nobody.  Then I went to Wallmart after this and there were thousands of customers with full carts.  I’d never thought I’d experience something like this in my life.  It’s pretty crazy, and at the same time, very scary…
