good evening. taxi-san and i did an around the island tour today. here’s how it went..
we checked diamond head and thought “should we surf 1′ weak waves, or should we go surf monster waves on the north shore?” simple, we went to the north shore…
we checked haleiwa first. 4-6′ and dangerous… no thank you…
we checked waimea bay. 8-10′ and very dangerous. ok, let’s go! i let taxi-san borrow my 6’6, i grabbed my 6’6, and we paddled out to stormy, rainy, dangerous 8-10′ waimea bay. full story coming soon…
then we checked pipe, 4-6′ and junk…
then we checked and watched the HIC sunset contest for a little while…
then we went to eat romy’s shrimp. so good!!! followed by a mcdonalds sundae…
then we came back to town and surfed kewalo’s in the evening.
a long day, i’m tired, hungry, and going to bed soon. have a good night sleep!

i wanted to thank the hayashi honeymooners for a great time. i was so stoked to surf with you and see you do your first off the lip! hope to see you in hawaii again…

mike from seattle just sent me the finished bali video so expect it up in a few days. stay tuned…
**finally had 10 minutes to go on my computer so the first thing i did was put part 1 of 2 the dove contest this past weekend in the middle of typhoon 14. wanted to congratulate every competitor, every helper, and every person that showed up. especially those of you who came from far away… i had a blast and it’s another great memory for my happy life….
