Haisai Surfing

Another beautiful day in paradise.  We paddled out a little later this morning as the waves started to get better.

Yamashiro-san is from Okinawa and is surfing in Hawaii for the first time.  He was surfing so good!

I followed him on a couple waves screaming from behind as usual.  Haha.

Yamashiro-san is a cool Okinawan.  Haisai!

I came home and started to upgrade to my new phone.  It’s 2 hours in and it’s still trying to sync.  Past my bedtime so will have to wait for tomorrow.  No phone tonight?  Yeah!!!

Octoberfest

Within the family, there are about 10 of us that were born in October.  So October has always been a very busy month of celebration.  I was in bed at 6:30pm when I got a text from my niece “where are you?”  Opps, I forgot about the party.  I get up, change out of my pajamas, brush my teeth, wash my face, and head over to the Tony Moniz birthday party.

There are kids running around everywhere!  It use to be my nephews acting crazy but now it’s my nephews and my grandnephews acting crazy together.  This night was pretty rare because usually one of the busy Moniz kids are traveling but this time Micah, Kelia, Isaiah, Joshua, and Seth were all there.  So nice!

I just love these kids.  Each one has their own personality.

Joshua walks up and all the kids pull him down and tackle him. Haha.  By the way, Joshua has a broken finger but the kids don’t care.  Haha.

Honouliwai got a present from Fujiki-san.  He said “hey uncle, this is my favorite japanese candy.”  Haha.
