Wax on, Wax off

When I took Yu-san out to Bowls, he had no idea he was surfing at the best spot on the South Shore.  And he had no idea he was the only visitor out there.  Haha.  This morning was locals only.

Tommy’s a local.  He’s been surfing out at Bowls forever.  Good style, strong paddler, and a really nice guy.

Remember the movie Karate Kid?  The most important thing I remembered from that movie was “wax on, wax off.”

10 years of being in the sun everyday all day long does this to any type of paint.  Now it’s time to make it pretty again.  Can’t wait!

VACAY EVERYDAY

Since I was a teenager, it’s always been a dream to get a boat big enough to take my friends to the outer islands.  I always felt that trips to secluded places will deepen your bond with each other as you connect to nature.  Sometimes the moment is so breathtaking that you’re left totally speechless.  A moment like this where only we can feel, enjoy, and embrace.  This photo took a second to take, but that memory lives on forever.   It’s priceless…

This was another memorable trip.  I stayed quiet while I observed the expressions of my niece and nephews.  They were also speechless.  This was Kelia’s first time here and not her last.

This morning I surfed really early, then went to work on Mayuki from 7am to 4pm in the blazing hot sun.  As soon as the weather cooperates, we are going to be speechless again!
