T-Shirt and Slippers

Just another day of remembering where I picked each and every one of these shells.  You would be surprised how close it is to my house where I found these.

Going on a solo trip backpacking around Argentina was a very good experience.  The good things I remember the most was the food, the wine, the people, the culture, and the salsa dancing.

The only bad thing was how dangerous it was.  I just arrived to my $4/night hostel and this American girl who was staying there was standing right in the front.  She looked super stunned!  I asked her what happened and she said “a guy on a motorcycle just drove by and grabbed my gold chain right off my neck.”  I could still see the guys fresh fingernail marks from where he grabbed the chain.  OMG!

What I learned the most from traveling is that there is no place like Hawaii.  You don’t need a gold chain, you don’t need a nice bag, and you don’t need a nice watch.  All you need is t-shirt, shorts, slippers, and wings.  Haha.

April 23, 2023 Hawaii Surf Report

Pipeline:  Everybody GO-Surf, Surf, Surf!!!

Good morning 3:45am.
North shore overhead and good.
Ala Moana chest high and good.
Diamond Head shoulder high and good.
Light winds so clean morning conditions.
Sunny and warm.
Going to the sea.
Have a wonderful day!

Alive Again

The mountains have been raining so there’s been a lot of rubbish in the water.  Nothing compared to Indonesia or the Philippines, but pretty dirty for Hawaii.

Going out for the sunset has always been my favorite.  But because of covid, it’s been over 3 years.

Good to see everyone enjoying the ocean once again.

I see Diamond Head multiple times per day, and it’s beautiful every single time from every single direction.

Friday night fireworks is going to be a routine from now.  It’s breathtaking.

This is my favorite view of Waikiki.  3 years ago it was pitch dark, now it’s alive again!
