Shark Attack in Town!!!

Big news from Honolulu, Hawaii.  A surfer got attacked by a tiger shark this morning at Kewalo’s.

Look to the far left side of the photo.  There is 1 surfer surfing the side of Kewalo’s.  It’s probably waist high deep there.  I watched the video and saw the shark hit the guy off his board.  And before that, I saw something chasing fish on the outside.  Probably the hungry shark.  Anyway, luckily other surfers were out there to save his life.

You can see the other 2 surfers helping him paddle in.  The shark bit him on the leg so there must have been blood everywhere.  He went to the hospital and the lifeguards said that the shark came back.  So Kewalo’s is closed until 12pm tomorrow.  Umm, it’s going to feel really weird surfing out there from now on.  I hope that surfer a speedy recovery.

A Beautiful World

After traveling my most of my life with no plan, it was nice to have a 2 week itinerary.  And everything went smoothly as planned.  Thank you family and friends for the perfect trip!

For the past 10 years, the longest I’ve stayed in Wakayama for a trip was one night.  So staying there for most of my 2 week trip was a lot different.  And I loved it!

After passing by the Wakayama Castle about a hundred times in the past 25 years, I finally had time to actually go inside it.  The samurai has always caught my attention.  I would love to wear this armor and fight someone.

I’ll never forget the day I spent in the mountains.  It was the first day the sakura bloomed.

You can always feel the power when seeing big temples like this.

With the temple, sakura, greenery, blue sky, white clouds, and waterfall in the background, this was one of the most beautiful places in the world.
