DOVE:  Always searching for the perfect wave…

Good morning 4:30am.
Ala Moana waist high and clean. But dirty water.
Diamond Head chest high and bumpy.
Trade winds back at 25mph.
Sun, showers, and rainbows.
Going to the sea.
Have a wonderful day!

The Search for Magic

With all that rain yesterday, the water was polluted today!  Since Bowls is the dirtiest spot on the island, it was a day to search for clean water.

Big logs, rubbish, and very stinky water.  For the first 10 minutes, it looked like this.

You could see where the dirty water met the clean water.  Once on the other side, it was crystal clear!

It was such a beautiful morning.  Very calm and very peaceful.

The biggest spot on the South shore and always clean water, the anchor was dropped and the surf session was ON!

The waves were a lot better than I thought.  Want to thank the Uncles out there for sharing the waves.

Magic board and magic boat equals MAGIC LIFE!

Driving in was dirty and stinky.  Looking forward to tomorrow…

Got Eggs?

Kimura-san is the best guide in Wakayama.  He knows the best of the best so we just follow him.

Every morning, we went for a long walk.  Fresh air and beautiful scenery.

Yamari’s been here for hundreds of years.

This is were I did my morning exercising.  Very quiet and peaceful.

These old Japanese boats are very strong.  Wish I could bring one back to Hawaii.

The master chef show of how to cut a tuna.

Take out sushi for lunch.

An afternoon walk along the Wakayama Castle.

Things like this remind me of my Grandparents.  So beautiful.

I ordered this breakfast at a restaurant.  The waitress comes back and said “Sorry, we don’t have eggs because it’s too expensive.  Instead of the egg, you will get served bacon.”  then she left.  In Japan, you understand.  In America, you complain.  That’s the difference.  Haha.
