Bird Dream

I love to teach surfing.  It’s been my passion for years.  Just to see the happy people, happy families, happy smiles, and happy experiences.  It’s so rewarding.

Whenever I take out a family to surf, I’m making sure they are as safe as possible.  That’s my number one priority.

Thank you Nakahodo-san for moving the tree out of the lineup.

I’m teaching this girl about timing.  Because if you perfectly time the takeoff, you may get the ride of your life.  Just like this…

Thank you Allen for taking this shot yesterday.  Sorry the girls almost ran you over many times.  Haha.

Last time we had so much fun in Waikiki.  The Uncles out there are cool, funny, and kind.

I jumped back on my foil just to make sure I can still do it.  Thank goodness I still can because this feeling is pretty incredible.  Flying over the ocean surface like a bird?  A dream come true…

July 7, 2024 Hawaii Surf Report

No rain, no rainbow…

Good morning 3am.
Ala Moana waist high and good.
Diamond Head chest high and bumpy.
Light trade winds at 15mph
Sunny and warm.
Going to surf and surf.
Have a wonderful day!

Gold and Blue Hawaii

Round 1:  The day started off like this.  Dark with the sun rising early in the morning.  I can’t help but look at this over and over.

The waves were bigger than we all expected.  Kyle searching for the barrel.  Yes, it was barreling.

Malcom riding in front of Clarence smiling the whole way.  Look how smooth the conditions were.

Nakahodo-san is loving Bowls.  I haven’t seen him this happy before.    Maybe because he’s surfing a lot better?  I think so.

Backside turning on the twin fin.

Round 2:  The afternoon was beautiful too.  Very warm, and very blue.

Hashimoto-san is back for Boot Camp.  I was expecting the waves to be flat this afternoon on the king high tide but it was actually bigger than this morning.

Perfect rights and long rides.

Right off the airplane this morning, Hashimoto-san doing cutbacks in the beautiful Hawaiian ocean…
