May 28, 2024 Hawaii Surf Report

Blue Hawaii…

Good morning 3:45am.
Ala Moana waist high and good.
Diamond Head chest high and bumpy.
Trade winds at 20mph.
Sunny and warm.
Going to the sea.
Have a wonderful day!

Elks Club

Happy Memorial Day!  Waves were still super fun.  Chest high and clean.

Lots of surfers enjoying this beautiful holiday.

Of course, Malcom with the best waves of the day again, again, and again.  Look how beautiful this bottom turn is.

I zoomed up on one of the photos to see Malcom’s smile.  Haha.  This is one happy man.  Probably the happiest surfer in the world.

Thank goodness Lance caught the next wave or else it would have just been Malcom again, again, and again.  Lance with his brand new Dove Wetsuits rash guard with hoodie.  Looking good!

Ray gave me some wild Elk meat so this is the first time I’m going to eat Elk meat.

Elk meat is supposed to be tastier than deer meat.  Right now I’m frying some patties so we will know very soon.  It looks and smells so good!

Neighborhood Awareness Statistic

Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places in the world.  Tropical weather, warm water, surf everyday, and lots of Aloha.  BUT, there is another side to Hawaii that tourists don’t know.

I got this in an email saying “Congratulations, crime went down in your district!”  This is the April monthly statistics for my neighborhood.  And remember this is best month of the year.

Auto theft:  51
Burglary: 26
OVUII/DUI (driving drunk or on drugs): 3
Fraud: 10
Robberies: 3
Thefts: 88
UEMV (breaking into vehicles): 81

UEMV means (unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle).  So yes, I am a statistic.  The assholes are getting smarter and smarter.  Now they take out the whole window, enter your car with a plastic garbage bag, and steal EVERYTHING!

So my advice to everyone is to leave ALL your valuables at home.  If you go to the beach, don’t bring anything because if you do, it will ALL be gone!
