April 7th today and finally a real South swell!  It wasn’t that big but it was big enough to be super excited paddling out.  Boot Camp begins for Hashimoto-san, Rocky, and Mighty Mouse!  

Hashimoto-san caught some of the best rights.  Super calm and relaxed taking the perfect bottom turn.  Look how beautiful this wave is!

As I was paddling out, I saw Hashimoto-san on another good wave.  The past 7 days were small so we practiced a lot.  We practiced for a special day like today!  

It’s been a while since a saw a nice barrel like this.  

Mighty Mouse on her 6’2 surfing a lot better.  Just a year ago, she couldn’t ride this board but now it’s her favorite.

Another day of great learning experiences.  It’s been so cool to see everyone push each other and excel.  Boot Camp must be working because I’m doing less yelling.  Haha.
