had a nice dinner with my surfing family. i’ve known these guys forever. i met Matchi back in 1992 and we ended up being the best of friends. we traveled the world together, surfed the best waves in our lives together, and 21 years later, we still do what we love to do, SURF! then Satoshi Kubota i’ve known since 1992 too. now living in miyazaki running his surf shop right on the beach. and it’s called “On The Beach.” Kenji Sahara i’ve known since 1992 too. a little boy back then going to photography school, now one of japan’s top surfing photographers. then 14 year old Ren, Shun’s little brother. then 16 year old Ryota. i’ve known these 2 kids since they were kids. so this table right here has a lot of history. and surfing has kept us together and will for the rest of your lives.

so many crazy things going on now days in hawaii. killings, murders, fights, rapes, molestation, pornography, and all kinds of creepy things. this 22 year old guy was driving drunk and got shot to death by police officers. where? right in the middle of waikiki. sad.
