Surfing in Hawaii and Watermelon Acai Bowl
surfed for 6 hours again today. just want to keep on logging my surf time everyday because i think i’m going to break the world record for most waves ridden in a day? or maybe i already did?
had an awesome morning with Mr. and Mrs. Furukawa-san. such a happy surf couple enjoying every bit of hawaii.
this was Takako-san’s first wave ever! look how surprised she was when she stood up for the first time! so cool to see such a happy face! welcome to the awesome surfing world!
and Yuuichi-san caught some really nice long ones! super smooth surfing and super happy time.
Takako-san caught wave after wave, smile after smile.
perfect rides all morning long!
then they requested mexican for lunch so i knew the perfect place to take them.
the enchiladas are the best here! mexican owned, mexican style, and mexican experience. thank you Yuuichi-san and Takako-san for the great time this morning! you guys did great!
ate some juicy watermelon last night. it made my body rehydrate and i felt so good after.
then i came home today to eat the other half, but somebody beat me to the refrigerator. a nice acai bowl in a watermelon shell. wow, i wish i could at least try some of this.
oh, had an afternoon session with Shintaro-san and Saori-san. more laughs and more perfect riding to come. for now, i better got to sleep because tomorrow is another full day in the ocean! good night.
Coke: Sugar Rush!
wow, Fujimoto-san surfed so good yesterday afternoon! just perfect rides on some pretty big waves. look how beautiful this photo is! perfect surfing on a perfect wave. i love it!
when Fujimoto-san was paddling out, he told me that he wanted to surf bigger waves than last time. and last time was pretty big. so we just waiting on the outside for the big ones. and when it came, we were on it!
thank you Fujimoto-san for the wonderful surf session. and thank you for sharing your dreams with me. i’m sure they will all come true. in other words, see you in hawaii everyday in 30 years!
so stoked to see Miwa-san, Kiki, and Keith all hanging out in taiwan. seeing photos like this makes me really happy to see our international surfing world getting stronger and stronger. i love it!
last, Warren Buffet owns a lot of shares in Coke. so when the activists ask him about why he supports Coke knowing how bad sugar affects a persons body, his answer is something like this: “i drink 6 cokes a day and coke makes me happy.” gosh, i wish i had my jack and coke and could give Mr. Buffet a cheers!!! haha.
