Lost and Found: Lost at Bowls, found at Bowls. FCS2 Accelerator Large: If it’s yours, let me know and I will give it back to you.

Good morning 5:45am.
Ala Moana chest high and perfect.
Diamond Head shoulder high and little bumpy.
Light trade winds at 10mph.
Sunny wand warm.
Going surfing and surfing.
Have a wonderful day!

Truffle Madness…

want to thank Dianne for the sweet apple bananas! so good!

after we had our dream surf session this morning at Bowls, it was time to cut up some of the fish we caught on Molokai and make a snack.

salt, onions, capers, and truffle olive oil right in the parking lot. omg! it was amazing!

yesterday we were surfing alone at our secret spot.

today we were surfing with friends and family. so happy to see Kelia Moniz out at Bowls. but i think Asayama-san was even happier than me.

good waves, good friends, good food, and good smile. this is what you call satisfaction.

the meat pho is the best here!

yesterday evening as i was driving home from work, Kelia texted me and invited me over for a Father’s Day dinner. she said not to bring anything as she will do everything. so after the steak, garlic shrimp, salmon, and poke, Kelia started to put together a Japanese dish.

she made me the most delicious healthy bowl of natto, yamaimo, vegetables, and it was the best closer ever. thank you Kelia for your sweetness.

my oldest nephew Noah is also a Father so it was nice to spend time with him.

Tony with 5 kids so a very busy man. it’s so good to sit down and have a chat with this Hawaiian.

Kelia, Isaiah, and Micah cooked dinner for us. then Get and Seth washed all the dishes after. such awesome kids showing love and respect for their family and friends. i wish every kid in Hawaii grew up like this.

The Friendly Market

photos from Asayama-san’s phone:

Asayama-san is already talking about staying on Molokai for 3 days next time we go. i’m sure he loves the island “freedom!”

and the town is so small and so simple. where is everybody?

welcome to the friendly market center!

there is no fish market on Molokai. so if you want to eat fish, you have to go catch it yourself, or buy it from this gentlemen.

the aku and ahi man!

and if you want to eat the best hamburger in the whole Hawaii, Molokai Burger is the place to go.

and meet mango man!

the harbor is only a 10 minute walk to the little town. very convenient for us to refuel on food, fruits, and snacks.

the most perfect nabe party in the sea. Maki-san has the system perfected!

and did you hear about the Japanese couple that got beaten up in the bathroom in Kakaako? well, this poor man and wife were taken to Queen’s hospital for one day and the bill was $66,000. so sad to see tourists getting attacked in paradise like this. i hope they can come back to Hawaii and if they do, i will love to show them bright side of Honolulu.
