since Mateus doesn’t have school, i’m trying to teach him how to be responsible. so i made him in charge of watering the plants. he really liked it. i also made him pick up rubbish but he didn’t like that. haha.
check out our first okra!!! i’m going to cut it up, mix it with natto, and put it over hot rice…
i told him to be careful watering the aloe. after he got poked, he understood why. haha. our garden is looking so good!!!
then we came in the house and looked at old photos of us. when he saw this photo, he said “who is that?” he didn’t recognize me. haha. then we exercised together. he was making me laugh the whole time so i couldn’t concentrate. haha…

the Ocean Fixes Everything
this sign hangs on the wall in my living room. i look at it multiple times each and every day. it’s just a reminder how important the ocean is for me.
went for a free dive and was so happy to be in the ocean without all the tourist boats. the turtles, dolphins, whales, and fish are super happy to be left alone.
did a dive for dinner. the best supermarket in the world! it’s free!
i can do this everyday and just be mesmerized each time. i feel like i’m living my retirement lifestyle and i love it. i don’t use a watch, i don’t know the time, i don’t know the date, and i have no responsibilities. so when i feel like doing something i want to do, i just do it….
i’m guessing that people will come back to Hawaii starting this week. and i feel that Hawaii is pretty much the safest place in the world to be right now. good job on our government. let’s keep it safe…
