i drove though the Hilton Hawaiian Village to see something i’ll probably never see again in my lifetime. complete emptiness…
this lobby is the busiest lobby in Hawaii. not today…
if you stayed here before, you know how crowded it can get. so yeah, look at this because when Hawaii reopens, you will never see it like this again.
even from the ocean in the evening, all the buildings are totally blacked out. it’s kind of weird seeing this. 
and when it gets into total darkness at night, the Hilton Rainbow Tower is totally black. no lights, and not even the famous illuminated rainbow. it really makes you realize how this pandemic is affecting the whole world. anyway, when Hawaii reopens, i’m going to be right here watching the beautiful lights and first fireworks show. i won’t miss it because it will be a time for celebration…
