good morning. 6:45am on another beautiful hawaiian tropical day. looking pretty nice outside. got a small south swell in town and a small north/west swell on the north shore. got a bunch of guys out at lani’s and looking pretty good. 6 guys out at bowls. ahhhhh….. i want to surf!!!! ahhhh….. i might have to go hunting today… have a great stress free day…
kazuma is from okinawa and only 9 years old. on my last night in okinawa, he came up to me and gave me this photo of us when we were in chiba a few weeks earlier. i thought that was pretty cool…
i turned the photo around and this is what it said. in english “kirby-san, thank you for everything”. it honestly touched my heart…
then right after that, daiki-kun came up to me and gave me this frame he made. i think daiki-kun is 6?
he even drew a picture of me. check out my middle comb… haha… daiki-kun said that the glass and shells that’s glued to the frame were picked at sunabe. that’s priceless. two great kids. and two great parents. it’s these things that parents teach their kids is what’s awesome. from the heart, just like their father, kazubo-san. wanted to say thank you again and again to the kazubo-san family in okinawa. hope to see you again soon….
