the boys wanted to surf all day and this was the only way out. 
some of the words i heard on the way out were, “OMG! wow! beautiful! lucky! dream! paradise!” these words are standard when riding on beautiful Mayuki… 
it was the boys first ever surf boat trip and they were enjoying every moment of it. 
when you have a boat, you can search for an empty wave. and we found just that. only 2 other people out and totally perfect conditions. 
Tokukura-san was in heaven. riding wave after wave after wave. he was having the time of his life. 
Namikoshi-san is Black Belt Karate, and now he is Black Belt Surfer! 
i spent 5 years in college to be able to live my dream life. if i knew it was going to be this good, i would have tried harder. haha. i want to thank my Grandpa for telling me that i can succeed in anything i choose. i believed him and it’s those words that got to where i am today. 
i was paddling out and seen a big set coming. it was absolutely perfect and there was only one guy waiting for it. it was Tokukura-san and he didn’t miss the chance of this perfect wave! i was screaming of joy for him!!!
Namikoshi-san rode some overhead sets and was loving the ride. for him, this will be a day to remember forever…
it’s my job to put everyone on the perfect wave according to the conditions and their ability, plus a little more. for these 2 lucky guys, this was it! it was totally paradise!!!

then after a full day with the boys, i went to pick up Nao-san and took her to a very sacred spot. it was her very first time here and she figured out the waves pretty quickly. it’s more than surfing, it’s about figuring out nature. good job girl! we surfed into sunset…
