want to thank Masao-san for the cookies! i love eating one of these after a long day in the ocean. nice sugar rush! and thank you also for this gift for Mateus. i will give it to him next time i see him… thank you Atsushi-san for the snacks! my lunch and dessert! and thank you Yui and Meg. going to eat this right now! back to the TMT project on Mauna Kea. when i was a kid, i never cared about things like this. but now as an adult, i care a lot. i’ve seen our land get totally overdeveloped and totally disrespected over the past 30 years. the government totally ignoring the Hawaiians and Kapuna. it’s all about money, and all about greed. the Hawaiians had enough and just want to keep Hawaii, Hawaii. you can’t blame them for that. just look what happened to Oahu??? people on the other islands don’t want their islands to become like Oahu, which is out of control… one of the activist is Walter Rite from Molokai. if it wasn’t for this man, Molokai would already be the next Waikiki. i respect this man so much because he stood up for the Hawaiians from the beginning. he’s one of the main guys that got the US Military to stop bombing Kaho’olawe. and he’s one of the main guys that stopped public access to the beaches from being closed. so yes, if it wasn’t for him, there are dozens of surf spots on this island what wouldn’t be accessible. that’s huge for protecting our rights to the ocean and mountains… and when you see the elder Hawaiians in their wheelchairs blocking the road to Mauna Kea, it says a lot. they are fighting for the sacred land and will go to jail doing so. so remember, they aren’t only fighting for themselves, they are fighting for you too. and if you’re from Japan and don’t understand, imagine the Japanese government letting a company build a 100 story hotel on the very top of Mt. Fuji. would you sit back and watch it happen? then what’s next??? it’s almost the same thing… back to brighter things. if you’re a man, these next few photos will turn your head. i saw this classic Jeep on the streets recently. this one is not for sale because i already asked. haha… and this 1965 Datsun truck is a head turner too. i had to stop and take a photo of it. and also talked to the owner… the cutest and coolest truck ever. this one is for sale so if you have $25,000, it’s yours! but the coolest car on the street right now is this one. the other day, a brand new sports Lexus tried to start a race with me. little did he know that this Speedster is packed with a full race motor and transmission. i’m sure he wasn’t happy when he went home because all he saw was my back license plate. haha… and no, this one is not for sale no matter how much money you have…
