Don’t have to Believe it, But Respect it!

a couple more photos from yesterday that made me a very happy Baby Surf Coach!   this is my 2nd youngest student ever!    WARNING to Parents:  Please don’t try to do this on your own.  if you fall or drop your baby, your baby will be traumatized from the ocean for the rest of their life.  i seen and heard about it happening many times before.   Mauna-chan was glowing after our surf session.  remember that babies can’t fake a smile, so this is the real thing…   thank you again Ikuko-san for introducing me to your beautiful daughter.  she’s the cutest ever!   after surfing together, you form a special bond.  a bond that can’t be broken… after surfing together, you become friends.  friends that play in and out of the ocean.   after surfing together, your life will never be the same.  it only gets better!   did you see the video of the tourists that fell into the ocean near Sandy Beach?  they were taking selfies when a wave washed them into the ocean.  thanks to the quick response of lifeguards, they will live another day.   the whole world is starting to back up the Hawaiian movement.  everyday it’s growing and growing.  in my opinion, there is no way the government can now proceed because you have real Hawaiians that will sacrifice anything to protect their sacred land.  i have a lot of respect for these guys…the TMT vs. Hawaiian issue is the talk of Hawaii now.  everywhere you go, you hear the conversation.  so as i was eating my sweet shave ice with Leo, i heard this Hawaiian man telling some tourists “even if i don’t believe it, i respect it.”  that means even though he doesn’t agree with the protests, he respects the Hawaiians for protecting their sacred land.  that pretty much summed it up…
