been to BLT, been to Ruth’s Chris, been to HY’s, and been to Yoshinoya. all great steak restaurants but nothing compares or even comes close to Kawamura in Ginza, Tokyo.
this is the start. fresh raw abalone smothered with caviar. raw beef on the side. both melts in your mouth. this is best eaten with champagne. haha.
my favorite place in any restaurant is front row counter. i’m watching every move with the master and knife. image training is how i learned how to do everything in my life. oh, by the way, this restaurant only has 8 seats in the whole place. you have to be somebody special to get your foot in the door with a 6 month waiting list.
i use to hate wine and champagne. why? because i was always drinking the junk cheap kind. now, i love it. you drink good stuff, you get a good buzzzzzz. started off with champagne, then white wine, then red wine, then jacksan. a crazy combination.
the master told me that these are the 3 finest bottles you will find in tokyo. i enjoyed every single sip.
i can’t describe how good the steak is. every bite was “OH MY GOSH!!!”
thank you Inaida-san for taking me to Kawamura. once was a dream, twice is heaven.
