i’m falling behind so better catch up. 2 evenings ago, we were all out at Bowls surfing together. there were 11 of us friends just having a wonderful time! i think we caught every wave that came? we were like a big happy and loud surf gang! haha…
i refuse to teach Toda-san anything more about foiling. and i told him that…
Carter and i foil together everyday so we share our secrets. 
but i’m not sharing anymore secrets with Toda-san because he’s getting too fast too soon. and that’s not fair. haha…

yesterday our secret spot was as good as it gets. imagine coming from Japan and surfing a secret spot all to yourself while 3 of your friends are cheering you on from the boat. i’m sure Nao-san will never forget this years birthday. good job girl and have a safe flight back to work!!!
the Okinawa Festival was amazing. filled with Okinawan’s and filled with Hawaiian’s. 
i saw a familiar face in the crowd! it was Fabian!!! 
yeah Fabian, always good to see you either here or in Okinawa. stoked to see you and your beautiful family supporting the Shima Bananas! 
i watched the Bananas preform and it was so funny! this group of surfers really know how to make people laugh. i still can’t believe i watched them perform live for the first time right here in Hawaii! right after their performance, i went to Bowls…
and guess what? the Shima Bananas were already there! haha! right from entertaining thousands, to entertaining themselves with perfect Bowls. just to see these guys makes me so happy!
