i’ve been to Bali about 30 times since 1993 and every single time i come here, this restaurant is a mandatory stop. then i always go in the back to watch them preparing the pig. it’s Babi in Indonesia. when you walk back here, don’t expect to see the cleanest kitchen in the world. haha.because right in the kitchen, is the meal. it’s a cruel world out there but my recommendation is the baby pig. that one will be the most tender and tastiest. 30 years ago, a pig would cost us $30. now, it’s more like $300. it’s called inflation.this is where the killing and the cooking is done. i never use to appreciate food until i saw the process from beginning to end. it’s very sad, but this is life…cook some rice and get ready for an amazing meal.for $3.50, you can’t get a better Babi Guling “suckling pig” meal than this in the world. and i might have to go back there tomorrow…
