this morning was heavy rain, thunder, and lightning bolts!!! it wasn’t a day for the beach but i had a feeling it would clear up. and sure enough, it did! Oshima-san and Alex paddled out and there was nobody in the ocean!!! we had Bowls to ourselves for almost the whole time!!!
and the waves were perfect! super glassy and the best it’s been in days. Oshima-san told me this is the best he’s surfed it. i think so too!
this was the main peak at Bowls and i still can’t believe we got it all to ourselves…
