it’s amazing how long i’ve lived on Oahu but haven’t been to these places before. i guess there’s a lot more exploring for me. and the only way is on these bikes…can’t see how steep this hill is by this photo, but let me tell you it’s steep!i couldn’t believe how fast Micah was flying down. i was nervous watching him…we stayed up there until dark. i swear i could do this every single evening. it’s just another way of ending the day with the perfect sunsets…i bought this Honda Grom just for my travel. it’s small, low maintenance, and parking at the airport is free. so my brother just installed my luggage rack for my suitcase. so i just strapped on my suitcase and headed to the airport. that’s my little carry-on suitcase so you can imagine how small this bike is. and you can imagine how silly i look riding it on the freeway. people were looking at me like i was a crazy..when i left my house, it started to rain. i got soaked!so i waited on the sidewalk and when i seen the rainbow, i followed it. then when i arrived at the airport, i was wet, dirty, and cold. but i didn’t care…i watched this movie on my flight. it’s called “Scotch: A Golden Dream.” it made me want to drink whisky again! maybe i’ll go up on a high rise hotel bar, order some Bowmore, and cheers to the wonderful man that introduced me to this wonderful world of whisky…
