since i get up at 4am everyday, i’m a morning guy. Hiro-san is now a morning guy too. can’t beat this feeling…

Hiro-san is surfing smooth and beautifully now too. when i first met him last month, my goal as a coach was to get this guy to love surfing even more than he did. and after this past 4 days of 8 rounds of Boot Camp, he rode over 160 waves, got stronger, and most importantly, gained a lot of confidence. 
you can see it in his surfing, and you can see it in his smile. so as much as stoked Hiro-san is, so am i. my goal to get him to smile and get him to love surfing even more is total success for both of us. have a happy flight home…
