it’s good to see the DNLR or “nature’s police” cracking down on illegal harvesting. the community is fed up with illegal divers taking fish from the ocean at night when they’re not supposed to. in Waikiki, it’s illegal so if you see lights in the water at night, call the DNLR!
a couple divers came out of the ocean with all these fish. it’s so sad to see things like this still happening on this island.
there is a fine for each and every fish taken illegally. i hope these divers learn and i hope everybody learns. the ocean is our resource for our generation and the many generations to follow. take only what you need and if it’s illegal to night dive in Waikiki, then don’t do it!
