OMG, i was flipping through Netflix and came across this. it’s a documentary called “My Octopus Teacher.” i had no idea what it was about but after i watched it, it had to have been the best documentary i’ve ever seen in my life. it’s about a guy with depression, then he started going into the ocean everyday. he met an octopus and the story goes on. it was absolutely amazing! i hunt octopus so i know their behavior, but after watching this, i don’t want to hunt them anymore. they are so beautiful, but taste so good too. omg, i’m so confused!
with the lockdown extended for 2 more weeks, the people are divided. some want the lockdown to continue, some want Hawaii to reopen. don’t ask me because no matter what i answer, half the people in Hawaii will hate me. so i’ll stay out of this one.
one thing they changed is they will reopen parks and hiking trails again. BUT, you can only go to the park or mountain alone. what??? yes, you can only go hiking alone. now i think that’s crazy because nobody should go into any mountain alone! expect rescues everyday from now… omg…
watch this trailer or better yet, watch the movie. i could totally connect to this guy. just like me, the ocean saved his life. and i want all my students to watch this too. you will learn about depression, and you will learn about nature. and you will also understand why i love to go free diving alone. you see and experience things that are pretty unbelievable…
