Circling Shark Bait

251

it’s been a very long time since i went for an early morning dive trip.  i forgot how relaxed and free i feel.  it’s the most comfortable feeling to be in the wide open ocean!

the key is to get out before the sun rises.  it’s very dark underwater and you can hardly see anything, but the fish can’t see you either.  and so can’t the sharks.  it’s good, and it’s bad too.  haha.

i just love going to the bottom and looking up.  this photo just shows you a narrow view of what i experience, but if you were to see the whole thing, you will be mesmerized…

not bad for today.  a couple barracudas and a few menpachis.  we went out looking for the BIG one but it wasn’t there.  that’s nature, and that’s life…

thanks Joshua Moniz for being a very patient dive buddy.  i’m super impressed with your dive skills.  and very impressed on how calm you are when the sharks were in a frenzy.  let’s try again soon…
