when we got to the parking lot this morning, it was totally empty because of the heavy rain. but if you have passion and motivation, nothing will stop you. we paddled out into the heaviest storm of 2022!
then once it cleared up, the first light of 2022 shined. the waves got good and nobody was out.
Daisuke-san and i get along really well because we think alike. we both wanted to start off the new year in the right way so the right was was to surf no matter what.
i’m still totally amazed on his progress. this shows you that passion and motivation will get you results.
i decided to start off the new year riding a twin fin i had hidden in my garage for a year. i want to be able to ride anything under my feet this year with no excuses.
surf today and foil tomorrow. i love it all!
i still can’t believe nobody was out this morning. we had the whole ocean to ourselves! taking turns riding waves and laughing all the way. it’s going to be an amazing year for us!
