see that guy trying to carry his surfboard up that rocks? well, earlier i saw him dragging a brand new longboard through the parking lot to the beach. his tail was grinding so loud off the pavement that it gave me chicken skin. then he tried to paddle out and got taken down by the current. he tried to climb up those rocks and when he got up, he pulled his leash to get his longboard up. i could hear the fiberglass cracking from hitting the rocks from so far away. then he dragged his boards over the rocks and left. i feel so sorry for the company who rented him that poor board. thank goodness that wasn’t mine…
when the waves are small like this, the ocean is very calm so the water has time to clear up. this is right under the lineup at Bowls. there were 8 Omilu’s swimming under us and it was a beautiful thing to see.
gosh, i wish i had my speargun because all i was thinking about was “SASHIMI!” 
we saw this little turtle out there too. so cute! 
when i was riding a wave, i saw something that was blue. so i dove down and grabbed it. i scored a nice single fin!!!
