Luang Prabang Exotic Food

144

Luang Prabang in Laos was a very interesting place to visit.  the reason i backpacked there was for the spiritual and cultural experience.  i just got into meditation during that time so i wanted to go to a place where i could feel super calm and in peace.  it fulfilled all my needs.  Luang Prabang is also a World Heritage Site so wanted to check that off my Bucket List.

my main purpose of travel is to learn about culture, but also about food.  so what ever kind of food the people eat, i always wanted to try.  most of the time i didn’t ask what i was eating because i knew if i knew what was on my plate, there’s no way i would be able to eat it.

they made a special soup with this head but don’t ask me what kind of head this is because i think you already know.  after my trip to Laos, i realized that the Laotian people eat what they have.  and what ever they have, they eat from head to toe not waisting any part of the animal.  would i try this again?  absolutely NOT!  but i’d have to say it was an amazing experience.
