watching the kids growing up was fun. the kids were so pure enjoying the ocean and their friendships. Kalani David (in the middle) is the same age as Joshua and Seth so they competed around the world together at a very young age. a quiet kid who grew up to be one of the best surfer/skaters in the world.
Kalani was winning everything and probably was the highest sponsored kid in the world at that time…
so seeing Kalani at Bowls hanging out with Seth was cool. he looked super healthy and happy. but, nobody knew that he would die while surfing a week after this. at just 24 years old, he will be missed by many. a tragic accident that makes you realize how lucky it is to live another day…
