I started going to Bali in the early 1990’s.  Gosh it was so different back then.  We were all young, loved to surf, loved to gather, and loved each other.  Remember there was no cel phones back then, and also no computers or internet.  All we had were each other.  We would spend all day and all night together like a big family.  Wayan Ganti owned the biggest surf shop on the main street called Jalan Legian.  We’d meet up there after surf and start the party in the back of the shop.  We would eat, drink, and dance the night away.  Those were some of the best memories of my life…

Then throughout the years, I’d find any excuse to go back to Bali.  This time was to watch the rookie Seth Moniz at the WCT contest at Keramas.  And to think that the spot Keramas didn’t even exist when I first went to Bali.  Things have changed so fast…

Traveling is the ultimate FREEDOM!  You will learn things about the world, and also about yourself.  And you will learn how to adapt to cultures and engage with people.  And if you’re lucky enough, you will fly where nobody has ever flown…

Bali Bagus!
